This winter, the Resort awaits you with epicurean holiday dinners, pampering spa treatments and an array of adventurous activities to choose from. With its 7 restaurants and 3 bars and lounges, the Bürgenstock Resort reveals itself as bastion of gastronomic excellence. At Spices Kitchen, stunning views meet a lively cosmopolitan atmosphere. Awarded with 16 GaultMillau points, Spices Kitchen brings authentic flavours from Japan, China, India and Thailand to the heart of Switzerland. Not only the open show kitchen provides a highlight, but also the location on a spectacularly overhanging platform within the Bürgenstock hotel building takes your breath away.


Both, on Christmas and New Year’s Eve, Chef Chatsorn welcomes you with a holiday sharing menu including the enticing flavours of the Far East, showcasing the sheer diversity of their different culinary practices and traditions. The 4-course or 5-course sharing menu includes a selection of delicious and aromatic dishes like steamed scallops with saffron-egg white custard and Oona caviar, deep-fried duck breast with orange sauce or seared tuna with Ponzu sauce and mango salsa - all prepared before your eyes in the dazzling show kitchen.

Oak Grill


Meat lovers and fans of a rustic, cosy and homely ambience enjoy a warm atmosphere at the venerable Oak Grill alongside a crackling wood fire and under massive oakwood beams. It is located at the Alpine Spa on the site of the former Bürgenstock Club. The Oak Grill, awarded with 14 GaultMillau points, celebrates Farm-to-Table and Nose-to-Tail. The fine wood-fired grill imparts exclusive flavours to Swiss gourmet meats – while the solid oak beams along with the centered fireplace set a unique atmosphere.

If the Bürgenstock Resort has a secret hot spot, it’s the Sharq Oriental. Awarded 13 Gault Millau points, it sits right atop the Bürgenstock cliff and offering an array of extraordinary Middle Eastern dishes with a splendid view over Lake Lucerne. Once a private villa where Sophia Loren lived when staying at the resort, this sleek restaurant has a modern yet intimate feel and has gained a real following among connoisseurs of the tantalizing flavours of the orient.
