Gourmet Brunch - Weisses rössli
No plans on the weekend? No problem! The well-known restaurant Weisses Rössli not only offers their awarded cuisine in the evening, but now also hosts an extensive weekend brunch, which starts at 11 am until 3 pm.
And of course, it's not just any brunch at Weisses Rössli, no it's a gourmet brunch which includes 6 exquisite cooked courses by chef Mathieu Bacon, awarded with 14 Gault Millau points. Before the courses, you can enjoy some croissants, “zopf” with butter and jam, and a cold cuts platter.
The gourmet brunch then starts with an amuse bouche, which consists of young potatoes with char rye and creme fraiche.
Afterwards the courses are served starting with an onsen egg with raw ham and brioche and pickled salmon with cucumber relish and figs.
This is followed by focaccia with eggplant, avocado and porcini mushrooms and a wonderfully beef tenderloin with truffle hollandaise, pommes pont-neuf and winter spinach.
Lastly, you will be served a sweet course including pancakes with plums, dulce die leche ice cream and almonds.
Of course, the bubbles must not be missing at an extensive gourmet brunch, which is why 1 glass of sparkling wine from the Zurich producer "Zürischum" is included - you certainly will have your glass refilled…
